Front of House and General Helper

This amazing organisation provides environmental education on exotic species' impact on our forgotten native fauna (animals). They have a growing centre with displays and tours and now need help at the front desk to welcome people in and support our educator. The ideal person needs to have an interest in our environment (we will teach you heaps so prior knowledge is not an issue) and be willing to help also with native plant sales. Might suit a tertiary student as internet would be available to study in quiet periods if not helping educator. The person will be managing visitors with vaccine pass checking and using an EFTPOS machine for tours. Must be double vaccinated.

Location: Horowhenua - Foxton

Dates: Sundays - can be every Sunday or rostered every few weeks

Hours: 11 am to 3:30 pm

The person will be responsible for ensuring all animals are feed and watered on Wednesdays. This is an opportunity to help care for our animals as we teach people about the impact introduced species have on many of our forgotten fauna (animals) that are unique to NZ.
Must be double vaccinated.
